Germany: a vision for fuelling Europe on Renewables

So, who says Germany does not have a plan for Europe? Well, they do for renewables! European Energy Commissioner Guenther Oettinger has a plan and the political and financial clout to make it happen. With 200 infrastructure projects for Europe's future energy supply, a grand total of €5.8 billion ($7.9 billion) to promote the cross-border construction of new power lines, vast energy storage facilities and gas pipelines - is this indicative of German pan-European planning to come?
