Ed has a passion for international business development. He has more than 35 years of experience developing global markets for manufactures. In addition to the numerous countries he has conducted business in, Ed spent more than a decade of his career as an expatriate in Asia. He has served on the advisory board of international development non-profits and had an eight-year tenure as a District Export Council (DEC) Vice Chair for the U.S. Department of Commerce. As the Vice President – Global Services, Ed oversees AMT’s international tech centers and global business development programs.

Executive Vice President, Engis Corporation

Ken Werner is the Executive Vice President of Engis Corporation, headquartered in Wheeling, Illinois. Engis manufactures diamond-based products and machine tools to provide innovative and cost-effective finishing systems for precision lapping, polishing, grinding and honing. Sales, distribution and technical support outside of the USA are provided through the company’s seven foreign subsidiaries and supplemented by a network of international distributors. As a senior executive, Ken has experience in sales, marketing, corporate and operations management, in the USA and foreign markets. He has been responsible for establishing distribution and the introduction of new products and sales into new and expanding markets including China, India, Brazil, Eastern Europe and Vietnam.
